6- Month Stats!

Look at me, mom of the year finally updating Luke's 6-month stats a mere 6 days before he turns 7 months! haha Granted he had his well visit late so I guess it is more of a 6 1/2 month check up, none the less here are the numbers for Duke-a-Luke.

He is 20 lbs, 26 1/2 inches and I really truly forget his head measurement, I usually only listen to the weight/height unless the head measurement seems off but all was well. He is the exact same weight as Vincent was but an inch shorter which shows in his layer of chub!

Luke has dramatically changed over the past couple of weeks, it is like he took a happy pill! He is such a happy little man, I am totally digging it! I have also started putting them both down at the same time for naps so I can have a breather! (Hubbs helped me to achieve this- THANKS LOVE) during the naps I took a shower this afternoon...it was glorious. I just stood their in the hot water (which I have to have on HIGH!!!) and enjoyed the stress free quiet time. But I always find my mind racing even when I am trying to rest. All I kept thinking about was Vincent's 2nd Birthday party and all the things I want and need to get done...Invites are first on the list of the 102944981 things I have planned! haha

This picture cracks me up..he looks like a PIRATE....Ahoy Matey!

In other news yesterday we took the boys on a huge family visiting spree. We had first only planned to attend Mass with Jordans one grandmother and then do brunch. After brunch we decided since we were in town we should visit Jordan's other Grandma and Grandpa, and we did not stop there we decided since we were close enough we should drive to Jordan's mothers for a little visit, and then we decided after that to make one last stop at Jordan's dads house. That is right 4 stops in one day! The boys held up amazingly, I was so proud of them, I was fearing for the worse (temper tantrums or meltdowns) but they were pretty happy little dudes! Thank the LORD!

Speaking of the Lord, Ash Wednesday is fast approaching...2 days! I have a ton of things I want to post on, I started before Luke was born typing about my conversion to becoming catholic so I am going to make sure I post that during Lent! Along with my lists of things to do for lent I decided today that I think I might start counting calories so I can drop the rest of this stinking baby weight...I am horrible at keeping track of stuff so it will be really tough for me to do but I found an app for the iPad that should help me keep sane. I can track my weight and all that jazz too. I have just been so LAZY lately (past 3 months) on losing this last 5-10 lbs. I say 5-10 because it fluctuates daily...gag me! But hopefully I can kick those pounds to the curb since we are planning a trip to South Carolina in May which means the dreaded swimsuit! lol

Enough small talk I need to get some things done during nap time!
