No Bean Chili

With Jordan's new "primal" way of eating we are cutting out a lot of carbs....I still need my sweets aka chocolate though, but I do not make treats near as much, probably BEST for my pregnancy weight gain!

 So we decided to make a no-bean chili and just went to town on it.

 I just guessed my way through it (since Chili is a no-brainer) and it turned out AMAZING. I never cared for the texture of beans, plus I would much rather be eating peppers and onions so this Chili is my new favorite!

You will need:
1 lb Grass-fed Beef
Organic Red Pepper
Organic Green Pepper
Organic Yellow Onion (white/red work too-whatever you have)
1 can organic diced tomatoes 
Chili Powder
Sea Salt
Fresh Ground Black Pepper

Brown your meat, drain it. Add all the other ingredients and let simmer to desired softness of your veggies.

That's it! As far as seasonings go I never use an "exact" amount I just season it to our liking!

Top it with cheese or whatever your heart desires! ENJOY!!

  2. I meant to comment on your post the other day about eating healthy! We have been making alot of the same changes as you, eating organic, cutting out processed foods etc... Is your husband doing the Primal Blue Print Plan?? A family on the swim teach I coached was Primal, I just don't think I can give up milk chocolate. Very curious! I'm so glad the weather is changing and fall food is here!
