Garden Fresh Salsa...and more weekend recipes!

I know I should have given out this recipe in the summer when the gardens were full of amazing vegetables...
At least you can pin it for next summer if you want!
Here is my recipe for my FAVORITE fresh salsa...
(compliments of my step-mom)
You will need-
8 plum tomatoes
1 red onion
bunch of cilantro
1-2 jalapeno peppers
1/2 lime juice
Sea Salt

Chop everything up into tiny pieces, drench with lime juice and salt and that is it!
Depending on your spiciness preference use 1 jalapeno for mild
and 2 for medium...I usually only use 1 since the boys eat it.

Let it sit and marinate a few hours in the fridge or the night before!

We were at the farm this morning stocking up on our meat and we bid a farewell to our Thanksgiving dinner...see you next month Mr Turkey!
Off to bake some goodies for our football party tomorrow
Pumpkin Bread with Caramel Glaze...
This is more for ME but there will hopefully be a little left over...

I FINALLY got myself a FULL night's sleep last night thanks to Mr Benadryl:)
I am finally feeling slightly rested and ready to bake!
I hope you are all having an amazing weekend...
