I guess this will not be "wordless" but what the heck...
I had a different midwife today and she CHECKED ME...
Thank HEAVENS...
{I was super irate last week when the one told me they didn't check until labor}
I am such a mental person so I was dying with the thought of not knowing...
I told her if I can envision any number other than 10cm it helps me...
Because for all I knew today I was still at a zero and making no progress...
Well good news we are at 3cm {banana} and 50% effaced...
bahahaha this guide kills me...
A freaking bagel!?! Oye!
Now my mind is set on only having to make it 7 more cm!
I think I was at a 3 the appt before I had Luke, but we will see what happens...
I am just glad to be progressing a little....anything is better than zero!!:)
Belly pics and all that jazz to come this week!
xoxo

awww he is going to be here before you know it! :) yayy!
ReplyDeletexoxo
YAY come on Jude!!
ReplyDeleteI predict by the weekend! :-) (maybe sooner)
ReplyDeleteMy water broke at 3 and went from 3 to 9 in an hour
This is hilarious. I think I get checked at 37 weeks and I'm 35 now. First they compare the baby to food sizes, now dilation! Got to love American society LOL
ReplyDeleteOmg! That picture!!!!
ReplyDeleteOMG a bagel...hilarious! hard to imagine! but yay for progress !
ReplyDeleteHave that baby TONIGHT!!!!!!!!! WONT YA?!?!?
ReplyDeleteOMG that chart is hilarious! I've never seen it before. Now that's all I'm going to think about when I'm in labor. Hopefully I go from a cheerio to a bagel in no time! :)
ReplyDeleteThat is so awesome that you are at 3cm! Getting to 3 to 4cm was the hardest part for me last time. Then once I hit 7cm it was all a blur!
ReplyDeleteI might have died if they wouldn't have checked me until labor haha! And 3 cm is awesome!! Yay for progression and that hilarious diagram!
ReplyDeleteThat image cracks me up! I hope he's her very very soon.
ReplyDeleteMy brain appreciates, but also does NOT appreciate, this "chart". You mean I get to look forward to a BAGEL in Sept?! OMG
ReplyDelete3 cm is awesome, momma!
ReplyDeleteNow I know that you are not at the hospital. I thought you were at the hospital, but now that I read the blog, I got it.
ReplyDeleteI could tell you how they come with the cm in a nursing perspective if you want, just not on your blog :) Learned it in my OB rotation.
ReplyDelete3 CM! OMG soooooo excited! Any day now!
ReplyDeletethis chart is awesome! haha
ReplyDeleteand yay for being a banana!!! almost time :)
Yay Yay Yay- at least now you know your just working towards that bagel. Ha, that chart is pretty funny!
ReplyDeleteI hate knowing ahead of time. I feel like it gives "false hope" or "false disappointment" since it really doesn't mean much until labor has begun.
