Guest Post {Danielle}

I'm so happy Allie asked me to blog for her...I'm pretty sure I'm going to ramble so I'll go ahead and say sorry. If you stick with me through it all- thank you! :)

I'm Danielle. I am in my mid 20's and can't believe it. I have an adorable toddler, Rylee, she is 17 months old! Holy cow! I've been married for 2.5 years and we've been together for 5 years. I'm in school for nursing and hopefully I'll be done sooner rather than later. Okay..enough about me.
Miss Attitude & she knows it.
I don't think a lot of people think about what marriage is going to be like after kids. I really think that a lot of people think everything will still be normal & nothing will change. WRONG
Your life changes, marriage changes, friends change.

We all need to take a step back sometimes & realize that just because you have a kid- you're still a wife. I understand that being a mom takes a lot of energy,patience,time, but what's a marriage without being happy, right?! You still need to make that husband of yours happy.  The first few months are a little tough because no one wants to leave a precious little baby! I know I didn't. Even if it's for just an hour to grab a quick lunch- do it!

I'm just now starting to get better at leaving her- 17 months later. I'm still very picky on who I leave her with & I want detailed updates, but who cares, right? You're the mom! You get to choose these things. Overall, it's your decision & your marriage, but trust me when I say that your marriage does change. Whether if it's for the good or bad- that's up to you.
Take time for yourself. :)
Now, hop on over to my blog and enjoy :)

  1. Marriage gets so much tougher after babies! I have a 3 year old and a 3 month old...taking care of them plus nurturing my husband is so tough and we're just finally starting to find a rhythm again!
