Operation MILF...

((MILF makes me giggle, use Hot Mom if you would rather! lol ))
Alright ladies the eating good for the past 2 weeks is paying off....
I have lost 7lbs!
I only have like 5 more to prepregnancy weight! SCORE...
I have decided that prepregnancy weight is now not my only goal...
I am shooting for 115, I haven't been that since high school...
I was not eating near as healthy then, insert lots of candy, pop and pizza, and high school cafeteria food (gag me) and I had a ton of muscle from gymnastics so I think 115 is very doable.
That means I now have 15 to lose.
I will be completely happy at my normal 125 but I really want to push myself,
Not sure how it will go but I am sure as heck going to try.

I am very self conscious.
I was never until....
I cheered co-ed in college and we had to weigh-in....
Yes, weigh in....oh and also those fun body mass tests where they pinch your fat...ya that! (so fun)
It was so stupid, I mean seriously....we were already all fit but, no we had to still weigh-in!
Such a crock of crap! No offense but I think if I could be held in one arm I am small enough!
{this was after college hence the obnoxius "YESSSSSS!" when we did it!}

But in college I started eating bread lol I had honest to God never liked bread until my roommate

introduced me to a bagel shop that made sandwiches! It was like heaven!
Therefore I would eat sandwiches from there and also subway, not paying attention to all the carbs

I was eating and also not eating NEAR enough veggies/fruits if any!
Hello, I was in college, I didn't have time to eat perfect nor did I really grasp what carbs meant.
But I went from 115 to like 123 ish which was still fine!
But now that I know what I should put in my body this will be 10 times easier to obtain!
I feel insanely good from eating more fruits/veggies!
I know I will probably get told that I am being obsessive or crazy but I want to be happy in my body!
I want to put a swimsuit on and not want to hide behind my kids!
I want to run after them on the beach and not worry about jiggles!
I want to feel fully confident when I look into the mirror!
We all have our issues of why we want to look the way we want!

I also want to be HEALTHY and I know that carrying extra weight doesn't help!
So here is my tiny workout plan for during the day.
I am not a huge runner but I will walk when we get the chance, and also I am chasing kids a lot of the day.
This is just a little extra for my day to help me tone up in a few areas.
I do not want to be ripped by any means, but toned would be nice!
This is my plan so far....I will probably tweak it. Somedays I add more push ups or crunches.
I present to you....

I pull this list up on my computer screen and pop on my playlist for best results! haha

I took pictures this week of where I am starting....EEEEEEEEK!
And I will take them weekly and see what happens!
Join in mommas!
Turn on some jams and do it!
My kids interrupt me every time but I just let it ride!

Who is with me!?!?!

  5. I need to do this, I'm only 3 pounds from my pre-pregnancy weight but my belly is so loose and jiggly and I hate the pooch. I remember thinking that by having a Dec. baby I wouldn't have any trouble being back in shape by summer but it's been much harder than I thought!

  7. I'm in! It seems like a neverending battle with me. I cheered in high school and all my muscle turned into flab:( Didn't help when I had kids. Sounds like an awesome and doable plan :) When I try to "exercise" my kids are either on me (human dumbells, LOL!) or copying me. Good luck girlie. You can do it!!

  9. Ah I was 117 when I got pregnant and 156 the day I gave birth.
At the 4 week mark I weighed 137 and I started to workout.
Im 127 now, 10 more to go until my prepreg weight.

  10. Go you!! Changing your diet is what does the trick! Plus a little working out on the side. I've totally changed how I eat since giving birth, not only am I counting calories but am also eating more fruits and veggies and trying to cut out processed junk! I'm 5 lbs below per pregnancy weight, so I'd like to lose 10 more lbs and be at my most comfortable weight of 120... We got this! And I totally agree about being comfortable in your skin, my hubs thinks I'm crazy for going über healthy but I won't be happy until there's no more jiggle :)

  12. I think I could totally get on board with this! Something I could easily do at work.

Oh...and if my goal weight was 115 I'd look like Kate Moss. I think I weighed that much in 6th grade! Being tall makes such a difference!

  15. Good for you!! I too just started a workout routine. I, thankfully, don't have any baby weight to drop (I have a 2.5yo and a 7mo), but I do need to tone up like crazy! I am loving the 10min workout videos on FitSugar.com I have been alternating days, working legs one night and arms the other, plus doing 60 crunches each night. It only takes about 15 minutes of my time, and feels like just the workout I need to get killer arms and legs just in time for summer!!
Can't wait to follow along on your progress!

  17. Adding, if you never hear from me again, you know that I have expired. I think I had better start with one time a day and work my way up, I have already started with the excuses :) But I am not as young as you are. After all, I am the grandma.

  18. Count me in! I am going to start this Monday! When I walked out of the hospital from having my son I was 20 lbs lighter than my pre-preggo weight. I thought I was a rockstar. I AM NOT. So now I have gained so much I need to lose a lot. So I am in!

  19. I think you already look amazing!! I'll wish you luck anyway - you can do it!

  20. I'm starting monday!! I lost the baby weight so easily with Anna, and I got down to 105 (thinner than before I was pregnant!) and I was eating cookies and fraps all day, and I was totally expecting the same to happen with baby Iggy ......and it didn't. I'm 125 and very upset haha. I'm using the petite advantage workout with gravity straps by jim karas but I'm just going to eat healthy instead of using his diet plan.

  22. I had my 2nd baby in march, and I am trying to finish up losing my baby weight so i decided to try and do your way of eating. So far I am absolutely starving lol, but I am feeling great and have lost 3lbs since monday.I lost all of my weight with my first one before I got pregnant again, but this time I would like to try and lose it quicker then last time. I told my husband since I only get about 11 months birth to being pregnant again, I would like to enjoy being thin as long as possible during that time haha. Anyways, Thanks for the encouragement. and I love reading your blog btw:)
