Cedar Point Fun

I have been wanting to go to CP for the past 4 years but I have been pregnant every time! haha! This year we finally went! We took our teenage neighbor boys because they let our wonderful dog out while we were on vacation! We seriously had THE MOST FUN EVER!!
I love roller coasters, although I will say after becoming a parent they are HORRIFYING!!! I just kept thinking "WHAT IF", that is totally not the best thing to think before getting on those monster coasters! The only one I refused to ride was the Dragster....no thanks! Here are pictures from the fun day!
The fast lane pass= cutting the LONG lines! Best.THING.EVER!
Drew man and I before the Raptor....waited maybe 10 minutes!! (on a Saturday!)
The normal line!:(
I used to love this ride as a kid but I was not all for getting wet!
It was kind of gross actually to see how many people just ran around in their bikini the WHOLE day...no offense I do not want to see ALL your goods all day long! I get it near the water rides but come on!
THE DOG!!! Jack and I (mostly Jack) played to win this beast!
Jordan and Drew on the Power Tower!
This was by far the best food there...
Funnel Cake ice cream sundae! The 4 of us crushed this in like 3 minutes...if that!
We were there the last day of Disaster Transport!!!:( They are closing it for good and putting a new coaster in! I loved this ride growing up so I am glad we got to ride it one last time!!
We had so much fun with the neighbor boys, who might as well be our family! It was so fun to see what it will be like for us in 13 years with our own boys! My only hope is that they grow up as wonderfully mannered as our neighbor boys!! We have the world's best neighbors!!!

Have you ever been to CP? Do you love riding coasters!? What is your fave!?
My fave is the Magnum! Although the Maverick was pretty fun!

  1. I have not been to Cedar Point in 15 years, since we lived in Columbus. LOVE that place!!! I will never forget standing in line and these thugs in front of us kept asking if we were going to ride the "magnet". LOL!!!!

  2. Wellllllllll I grew up in Erie-PA! So very close to there and we used to go there every summer ...I LOVED CP....but then after Alberto forced me to go on the Kingda-KA (sp?) at Six Flags I was traumatized and I think I can never step foot on a roller coaster again without a panic attack! LOL

  6. ahh, i want to go soo bad! i always have. i grew up in chicago but we never made it over. my in-laws live in luna pier MI, which i guess isnt too far. we've talked about it but the first time we went was more "business" & the second time i was there it was christmas. i told husband next time we go up it will be in summer so we can go to cedar point & make our way back home to six flags!

we have busch gardens & seaworld passes & obviously universal down here but they just dont compare to a coaster park!

  7. SOOOOO jealous! I love that place and my favorite ride has always been the Raptor, although the Maverick is a close second. My husband and I did the VIP passes a couple of years ago and it is so worth the extra money. We got to go to the front of any line and pick any seat before others were allowed on. I miss living in Ohio and being so close to CP,

    2. I would love to visit! We're in Ohio and Michigan every summer. Too bad it's just sooo crazy trying to fit in seeing both sides of the family in a short amount of time. We want to move back so bad but have to go where there are jobs and right now, it's Arizona for us.
