WBW- Gift Time!

It's Wednesday again and also Halloween!
Hope everyone on the east coast is safe and well and it's not too chilly for
your kiddo's tonight for Trick or Treat!
Jude is a little under the weather so I am not sure if he will be able to go out!:(
Anyways, like I said it's Wednesday (hump day) so clearly its time to talk about the MEN!
So grab the button and link up!
A few rules: Make sure you follow Kay and I
and try your best to comment and follow at least 2 other linkers!:)
It's that time of year....
What is the best gift to give your husband?
My husband is such a pain to buy for. He does not want ANYTHING. Seriously, he actually gets annoyed if I buy anything so I usually aim for the heart! I love to just give him pictures and cards. We all know I love taking pictures so a nice framed photo in my eyes is the best gift ever. Or I buy him some kind of food that he likes. I mean nothing too cool over here as far as gift buying goes. He always says the biggest gift is for me to just take care of the house and the kiddos!:)

What is a meaningful gift that you can give that does not cost money?
Well clearly I just gave that answer. For the man who does not want anything its just a matter of keeping up with housework and the kids! Making his life as easy as possible!:)

What is the best gift you have given to him?
Our 3 children!:) The gift that keeps on giving!:)
And just being a trophy wife...I mean that is self explanatory. Geesh.
My sarcasm is also a great gift and causes much laughter in our home.

What is the best gift he has given to you?
Same, our kids!:) Aside from our kids I must say that I VERY LUCKY and blessed by what he gives me. Not only his never ending love but he does buy some kick butt things for me! He bought the exact SUV I wanted so we could tote all the kids and have space for more! He is also being very generous in our new home's kitchen appliance department! But literally the best gift is him and our little men! The other stuff is just an added bonus!

What are you giving this holiday?
I doubt we will do much really this holiday! We are moving into the new house and have a ton of renovations so that will be our Christmas. I will probably do something small and meaningful or just plan something for us to do!? No clue yet, maybe I can steal your ideas!! haha

Now Link it up!

Next week let's talk
1. When you were a child what did you imagine YOUR Prince Charming to be like?
2. Does you husband match your prediction as a child?
3. What about when you were a teenager and knew it all about love, does you relationship match that scenario you had during those rebel years?
4. What love movie would you best match your relationship to? Why?

Apple Crumb Pie on Cinnamon Roll Crust! This is what heaven tastes like!

I am typically not a HUGE pie lover...
Mainly because I am not a huge fan of pie crust.
It is awkwardly bland and gooey and creeps me out a little.
I can handle a good graham cracker crust though (yummo!)
The other day I was browsing pinterest and saw a pin for cinnamon roll crust.
I no joke packed the kids up and hit the grocery for cinnamon roll dough and all the fixings for an apple pie. I had never made one before but I was determined!
So yes, if you have never made a pie...you too can!!!
A few tips I saw were to use granny smith apples, or golden delicious.
I also read to thinly slice apples and also throw them in the microwave or oven before baking!
Here is what you will need:

Pie Filling
7-8 green apples (sliced thin)
3/4 cup sugar
2 TBS Flour
2 tsp Apple Pie Spice
2 TBS Lemon Juice

1 package Cinnamon Roll Buns

Crumb Topping (BEST THING EVER)
1 cup flour
1 cup brown sugar
1/2 cup butter
1 tsp apple pie spice (optional)

Preheat oven to 375.
Grease your pie pan, and try your best not to drop it on the tile! (story of my life)
(Next go to your neighbors and borrow their pan!)
Mix the crumb topping first. Place in the fridge so it is easy to break up for the last step.
Slice your apples and mix everything together in a bowl. I tossed them in the oven for probably 5 minutes before assembling the pie. While they are in the oven or microwave you can get the crust ready. I took the cinnamon rolls out individually and smashed them with my hand making them as thin as possible. Starting with one in the middle push them around the entire rim of the pie pan.
Take the apples from the oven and pour into crust! (They will be tender)
Sprinkle with crumb topping and put back in the oven!
Bake for 45 minutes - 1 hour. Until the top is nice and brown!
Serve with ice cream and ENJOY!!! (I have made this 3 times in the past few weeks!)
Thank me later for your newest addiction!

Friday Randoms!

Happy Friday loves!
Who is excited for the weekend!?
I have my pumpkin spice frappucino in hand and am ready to rock it out!
I figured I would do a good old random post because I feel like those are seriously the most fun!
So....Here's what is going in at our house!:)

Murder Mystery Dinner...
We love the game CLUE, seriously we play it all the time! A few weeks back a deal popped up on Living Social for a murder mystery dinner. I died of excitement! We rarely do date nights so I figured what a FUN date, so not typical! It is 1920's mobster themed. They said we can dress up so I have a feeling Jordan might bust out his tux. I just need to figure out what I will wear!! I will post pics after our date! Fingers crossed it's as exciting as I am imagining!!!

Room for ONE more!?
The other night we traveled with Jordan which we used to always do with ease. Well this time it was a complete train wreck. First we went out to dinner at Longhorn. We wanted to sit in a booth so the kids had more space....WELL...If you sit in a booth you CANNOT have a high chair!? I guess its risky, it was super ANNOYING because we sat in a huge corner booth so the high chair would not have been a hazard because it was really not a walkway. So whatever. Jude is a mover to say the least, so here I am HOLDING Jude the entire meal. SO MUCH FUN. I am feeding him as cleanly as possible he is grabbing EVERYTHING in his reach. V&L were good but it's just not very fun to go out to eat. It was so much easier when Jude was a baby and slept! UGH!
THEN....we all go down for bed. I had the pack n play in the bathroom area. The hotel was almost fully booked and our neighboring rooms all had "DO NOT DISTURB" signs on their door, so I knew letting Jude cry even for a few seconds would not be an option. Well he went down decent, then woke up around midnight ANGRY...he wanted nothing to do with ANYTHING! I nursed him, we walked him around, I tried every possible position to please him because I did not want to put him back in the pack n play in fear of bloody screams. So we wrestled with him for literally 4 hours, meanwhile Luke wakes up. We have Luke and Jude in our bed now. Vincent of course is sleeping through it ALL. It was just not a great night AT ALL.
All this time I am imagining how in the heck we would ever manage 4?! So for right now I AM CONTENT!:) Sorry that was longer than expected. WHEW!

The House...
I have been a little hush hush about our new house. Anyways we close on it in like 2 weeks! I am seriously dying of excitement! We have a TON to get done. The house is old and needs all new electrical and plumbing. It also needs new flooring throughout half the downstairs. The best part is it needs ALL new appliances which I am hand picking myself! :) This is literally a dream come true. If I could marry kitchen appliances I would. Looking at gas ranges makes my heart skip a beat!
I pinky swear you will all get to see the house soon enough! ;)
I have a HUGE announcement that some of you know, but let's just say you will be able to see our new home on a very popular show next spring!:):):) More details to come on that!

We are in the talks of getting another dog. Which is funny because I just was complaining about the 3 kids, so why not add another family member. We already have a German Shepherd, Lord Verner but have been aching to get another. Here's the problem, Jordan wants a MASTIFF. He said if I get the appliances I want, he gets the dog! He showed me this video as IF this would make me want one...
I mean it's a freaking HORSE. Jordan was laughing the entire time. It is funny if it's not your dog!
Luckily we will never let a dog in our bed. But come on people....do you see this being me!??!
O.M.G Maybe we can get three of them? I could go into Dog Photography!?
I literally laugh my butt off at that picture. Anyways.
I can deal with a puppy....but man it's going to be rough!

WNWO Moms On The Go!
I have a full post coming on this whole thing soon! I have briefly talked about it but my friends Lisa, Molly and I are on a news segment called Moms On The Go on our local news. We are on twice a week and we LOVE IT! Here is a peek at our little promo video. It is so weird seeing us on TV, I am so not used to it yet!
I love Jude and Braxton playing at the end! Swoon! Anyways...
We talk all about mom stuff! We have a lot of fun stuff going on and we started a Facebook Page for all our friends who are not in town! We will update our segments have be able to actually go more in depth on topics! It will also be just a fun spot for moms to exchange advice and tips because let's face it we don't know it all! So please stop over and 'like' us!:)
PS they had puppies this morning at the station. SO CUTE!
25 rules for Boy Mommas...
I saw this on facebook the other day from the lovely Miss Meagan! But stop over and read it
I must say I love being a boy momma, they have so much love for their mom. Vincent is literally the sweetest thing ever. Lately he has LOVED cuddling with me and even requests it! He will rub my head and give me kisses. It is heaven! I love my little men and cannot wait for them to grow in to amazing gentlemen!

You guys have to get this combo. I am obsessed.
That is all....I think!:)
What do you guys have going on this weekend!?

If you have not met my husband, he did a vlog here if you want a visual!
Jordan is the love of my life, obviously!
It's funny because we equal each other out. I am more outgoing and he is way more laid back.
It's shocking to most people because of his quietness around others,
but he is so much FUN! He is like a giant 3 year old and I love it!
So join in, grab the button and link up! You have all week to join in!

Here are Jordan's SHORT answers! haha!
He told me I could write more about how wonderful I am but I chose not to!
I mean come on we all know I am trophy wife, right? bahahah
My reactions are in red!

What was the first thing you noticed about your wife?
"That she was very shy"
*I used to be VERY shy, now that I am a mom, I am much more outgoing!*

When you first started dating your wife, what kept you calling/asking her out?
"We had a great time and I was happy when I was around her"

What is your wife's best quality?
"Her ability to forgive"
*I did not fully understand this one but I do forgive easily. I am one to brush things off and move on, I just don't see a point of dwelling over stuff!

What is your favorite thing to do with your wife (ahem, keep it clean!)?
"IT!" haha then I told him to keep it clean!
"I just like being with her and hanging out with our kids"
*HAHA I mean obviously with 3 under 3 that first answer makes perfect sense! Too bad our natural family planning venture puts a damper on that! TMI...sorry!:)*

What are you most excited for for the future with your wife?
"Retiring and seeing the world"
*Amen! We love to watch House Hunters International and one day would love to live abroad!*

How do you make your wife feel loved?
"By providing for her and the kids"
*I thought this answer seemed like we are money hungry animals...haha we are not but my husband is such a hard worker and I love that about him! We have came so far from his hard work! I mean when we were pregnant with Vincent, Jordan worked full time and did his MBA at night! He is the hardest worker I have ever seen! I am excited for our boys to have him as a role model!*

NEXT WEEK We are talking GIFTS!!!
Obviously Christmas is right around the corner so fill us in!
What is the best gift to give your husband?
What is a meaningful gift that you can give that does not cost money?
What is the best gift you have given to him?

Halloweenie & Giveaway!

I love me some Halloween! I love me any excuse to buy candy and have it sitting in our pantry ;) and any excuse to shove a mini candy bar in my mouth daily (or 3 times daily)!

This year the boys will be channeling the movie UP!
Jude will be the dog, Dug.
Vincent & Luke will be the old man and the boy scout! '
We have not decided who will be which yet, I got gray hairspray but it did not show up too well!
I still have to figure out the boy scout outfit lol.
YES, I know Halloween is SOON!:)
I am a total procrastinator!

Instead of the typical tying balloons to the kid that I have seen on pinterest.
I am going to make their candy basket into a house and attach balloons to that!
I should get BONUS points for total creativity there!:)

This year, as always we will be passing out Hershey's candy!
Stop over to check out all the mom bloggers ideas for Hershey's Halloween fun!

YOU can also hand our Hershey's candy at your doorstep!
Hershey's is giving one lucky reader TWO 50ct Chocolate Lover's bags!
That's 100 bars of yummy goodness!

Just leave a comment about what you or your kiddo's are being for Halloween & your email!

*Winner will be chosen Wednesday October 24th at 8pm*

Happy Halloween and enjoy that chocolate!

Deadsies, and BOYS!

I have been so sick lately. Jordan calls it a case of the"deadsies".
I am usually never sick. But this one was a knock me out, tired out the wazoo, no energy one.
Which equals little blogging from me.
I have also been super busy with sessions. I have had probably 16 sessions the past few weekends.
I am finally feeling good enough to start working on finishing those up! Whew!
If you guys wanna follow my photography page you can here
I am so blessed to be able to do this as a job and still stay at home with the men!

Speaking of the men... I have tons of pics to update you on them! So let's dive into it...
I actually pride myself on being able to get kids to smile and cooperate during photo sessions.
But man it is so HARD to get your OWN kids to smile all at the same time! haha
Case in point....
Or this...
You would think that I was torturing them....lol
The one shot I did get was of Luke:)
What a little ham...then we tried Luke and Jude....(bahaha!)
I guess I will just take a pic of their feet...lol
After that we changed and just played. Much less stress!:)
Here are some other pics of the little men as of late...
I got that giant tick tack toe set at Meijer. I love it! Perfect for a game room!
I just love FEET. These are Luke's little toddler feet. Swoon!
Another thing I am swooning over is Jude's HAIR.
It only knows one direction....UP!
It is hilarious!
Speaking of Jude, he has his well check yesterday. He is 7 months already
(no, they usually dont have well checks @ 7 months but I missed his 4 months and then got all jacked up so this was his 6 month one haha)
Anyways all was well. The only bad thing was he dropped weight.
He went from 19lbs down to 18lbs in 2 months!?
The doctor did not seem too concerned though because he is healthy as an ox.
I just think it has a lot to do with my milk supply not being as high and starting solids.
Also he crawls 247 and is NEVER stopping so he is burning more calories.
See, he is happy and healthy!
And guess what!!!
He is the first of the boys to start with saying mama! I am over the moon excited!
Speaking of mama, my mom came Sunday to help me get healthy and help
with the little men. I love this shot I got of her and them.
She got them the Velveteen Rabbit book and the stuffed animal to go with it.
Luke is obsessed with the bunny. I love it! (Kohls has it)

I will end with a picture of Jude I snapped at his appt. I love it!
Also...I have a lot of posts coming.
A recipe for Apple Pie with Cinnamon Roll crust, A halloween post with a Hershey's Giveaway,
Our Political Rally Madness trips,
and of course the new weekly link up for Wedded Bliss Wednesday's!
Thanks so much to everyone who has been linking up! Kay and I are so excited to have you all and for us to chat about our marriages! Love everything about it!

WBW- Marriage/Relationship Advice!

Thanks so much for linking up! We are so excited to have you (and your marriage) We want this to be fun and exciting, so please let us know if there is anything you want us to add! Make sure you try to follow everyone who links up and also Kay and I!
((I have had a nasty flu virus so I am so FAR behind from commenting on everyone last week
Please forgive me!! xoxo))
Let's get started with Marriage Advice!
If you could give one piece of advice to any married (or soon-to-be married) couple, what would it be?
COMMUNICATE! I know it's the most common advice but it is so true! We cannot read minds, sometimes we are upset and hold it in, without our husband knowing or vice versa. That is bad news bears, my friends. TALK. Talk all the time, if something is bothering you, tell your husband/wife. Playing the guessing game on emotions is not only childish, it ruins your relationship! Make it a point each day to ask how your husbands day is going and discuss and LISTEN. Hands down, one of the keys to a successful marriage.

What is an absolute MUST for any marriage/relationship?
RESPECT eachother. The worst thing I can ever see in a relationship is lack of respect. I know, I know, we are not always going to agree with our husbands, but respect them and their decisions. I think if you do not have mutual respect, you have nothing. So please, please respect your hubs and men respect your ladies!

What is the #1 no-no in a marriage?
CHEATING. I mean come on. That is obvious. It makes me SICK to ever hear about men or women cheating. But let's be serious, it happens. And there are different degrees of cheating, I am one who thinks going to a strip club is cheating. Not only disgusting, it is a total lack of respect in my eyes to your wife. But, I hear stories ALL THE TIME, my husband is in sales and the wonderful mess I hear makes me sick.  Also to the women who work with married men, do not hit on them. You are a disgrace if you hit on a man with a wife and children. If you wanna have multiple partners, don't get married. Have respect for the sanctity of marriage, please!

What is the biggest lesson you have learned from your marriage?
NEVER. I REPEAT. EVER. compare your marriage to another. We are all different. Just because so and so's husband gets coffee with her, does not mean Jordan all of a sudden should like coffee and go to Starbucks at my every demand. We are do different things, and we all do things that work for US.

If you are looking for Mr Right, please be on the look out for men who will be great fathers! I cannot stress this enough to my single friends. That is hands down one of the most important qualities. Jordan is not only an amazing husband with abs of steel, he is the best father. He plays with the boys, teaches the boys and spends every waking moment away from work with them. I would never be able to function as a mother without him! So please, choose your men wisely! I cannot imagine this journey without him by my side! Love you babe!

Next Week's Questions:
We thought it would be fun to flip the script!
We found out the first week that not everyone's husbands LOVE the whole blogging thing, but in whatever format (vlog, pen & paper, full on guest post) it's time to hear from the men!
Have your husband answer some questions about you/your marriage and report back on his answers!
What was the first thing you noticed about your wife?
When you first started dating your wife, what kept you calling/asking her out?
What is your wife's best quality?
What is your favorite thing to do with your wife (ahem, keep it clean!)?
What are you most excited for for the future with your wife?
How do you make your wife feel loved?
