Curious!?

No, it's not about Britney Spears perfume
::which is literally what always pops in my head when I hear the word::
Anyways, I have a few new followers...
WELCOME....
I am guessing I gained a few because I actually blogged TWICE this week!
GO ME!!!
Since a handful of you are new I figured I would do a fun little Q&A and also
since I am still in the works of my "3 under 3" post and the post on our decision to homeschool...
I wanted to open the floor up for ALL questions!
Therefore I can answer them within those posts...
:if those are the topics your curious about:
Is there anything about me or the fam that you are dying to know!?
ASK AWAY!
**I may even answer them via blog and show off Jude live ;)**

But for real...I will answer whatever pops in your head...
Questions about the boys?
Questions about the hubs?
Questions about what happens behind closed doors!? {wink}
The food we eat!?
Ask away if you wanna see Jude on a vlog ;)

xoxo
Happy weekend everyone!
I will leave you with just a few pics from the baptism and birthday last weekend!
Our boys godfathers....Jordan's brothers

*I will leave this open for questions until next Friday!*

Confession Time...

I cannot believe I am going to confess this...
(hopefully you will laugh and not hate me)
::fingers crossed::
Keep in mind it happened when I was about 8 months pregnant with Vincent...
::therefore I had zero clue of the aftermath your body has post delivery::
I was standing in the check out line at the grocery...
Catching up on the latest on the magazines...
You know the :good stuff: like who is pregnant, cheating, or in jail...
::my stepmom told me my dad does the same exact thing...hilarious::
Jennifer Aniston was on the cover with the typical headline...
"She is finally pregnant...blah blah blah" with a barely bloated stomach...
A cute lady is also looking at the cover and says
"No way she can be pregnant, she is so tiny"
I glanced over and noticed this cute lady also had a cute bump that resembled mine...
I always get excited to see other pregnant people...
It's like seeing family...very exciting...
Anyways this scenario was not.so.much!
She asked when I was due and I said April so of course the logical question of
"When are you due" blurted out of my mouth...
"I just had my baby 2 weeks ago"
Insert my face turning bright freaking red and my foot finding it's way to my mouth!

I really truly forget what I said but it was a HUGE apology with me and then we parted ways...
At the time I had no freaking idea your belly would still be big...
Now I know after you pop that baby out you still look pregnant for a good while!
:Major pain in the butt I must add::
I was a total idiot...and I am sure I made her cry which breaks my heart!
If she was a blogger there is certainly a post out there about the *itch who asked if I was pregnant!

If it makes you feel better the little girl I used to nanny asked me if I still had a baby in my belly
a few weeks after we had Vincent... a tiny case of karma I guess!

Now I know NEVER to assume any thing just from looking at their midsection...
If you have not had kids yet, learn from my mistake...lol

Anyways the reason I am confessing this NOW is because of this commercial...
I literally laughed out loud over it...
If only I would have had a glass of wine to throw on myself during the moment...

I also giggle over this gem by them...

High five to them for making funny commercials!
Please don't hate me for my confession...

Pushing myself....

Today I took a big step for myself as a mommy of 3...
I tackled the grocery alone...
I had been dreading this for no joke, months...
I always said there was NO WAY it was humanly possible to take all 3 out alone...
::i sell myself short a lot::
I envisioned all the worst case scenarios
The typical ones like...
  • All 3 kids crying simultaneously
  • One of them falling out or jumping out of the cart
  • People judging me ::oh wait that comes with mommyhood anyways::
  • Them throwing stuff around or dropping a carton of eggs!?
Therefore...
I had a plan ready to go.
Jude: Baby Bjorn
Luke: Front of the cart
Vincent: Riding in the main part
Me: Holding it all together
The list was made, the kids were dressed. OFF WE WENT....
 The goal...get in...get out...FAST!
Notice I parked beside the cart return to load the kids in the cart right away and for easy unpacking!
 Getting the troops in order....
Luke snagged a pear right out of the gate
::don't worry I paid for it::
Jude was snoozing on me the entire time...Thank the Lord!
I got a lot of looks, mostly double takes of how many kids does she have lol
The boys did great...so I piled them back in the car and gave them a treat lol
 Operation grocery was a success....
This whole little ordeal got me thinking a lot about pushing myself...
I felt this overwhelming sense of power after I did this today...
::I could have easily waited til Jordan was home like I typically do::

But, I would have never had this rush if I had just sat back and not taken the leap...
Sometimes getting out of your element or comfort zone can change your life...
I know this may seem like just a small task but to me it is huge.
It opens my eyes to what I can do when I push myself...

Never in a million years did I think I could handle a baby...
Then a baby and a toddler...
Now a baby and 2 toddlers...
I would have never pictured myself doing all that I do 5 years ago...
But here I am, a momma of 3 and not letting it slow me down....
I want to see and do a lot in our family life...
Just because we have little ones doesn't mean we are summoned to our home...
So today I took another step in tackling daily tasks with 3 head on and I won.
It may be small in the grand scheme of things but it's a victory nonetheless and I feel great!

My advice ::if you want some::
Face your fears...
Don't sell yourself short...
Push yourself to try something that scares you...
You may discover some hidden strengths you never knew you had...
If it all goes down the crapper you will at least have a good story to share!

Have you experienced a similar victory!!?!

Guest VLOG from my love Lindsey!

When the lovely, Allie, asked if I would guest post for her while she is recovering from delivering her sweet baby boy, Jude, how could I resist!! Her niche here is one of my favorite reads and I am honored that she has entrusted me to guest post for her.

My name is Lindsey & I blog over at this little blog, and I have a little surprise for you- I did a vlog (video blog) as my guest post! I am a total cheeseball and I'll be honest, my fingers ramble much more than my mouth, so hopefully this doesn't disappoint!

CONGRATULATIONS ALLIE and FAMILY!!!! God Bless sweet Jude!!XOXOX

Shenanigans....

Anytime we have all of our family here there is never a dull moment....
{or mostly when Jordan's twin Alex is involved}
Yesterday I walked down to two full size tents set up in our family room
{Alex needed all of our advice on which was best for his trip}
He spiced things up later in the afternoon after Jude's baptism with setting up a slack line in our yard....
He was showing off so I had to try for myself
He had some nice skills
I really tried to one up him with some sub-par college cheer skills
I think Alex may have won....
but given more practice I would dominate him in slack line!

Later that night Jordan, Alex and David consumed the rest of Vincents cake with their hands....
{I snagged a video for the blog of it and Alex's amazing dance moves}
But here is a small idea of the hot mess!
I have not uploaded all the pics from Jude's baptism of Vincent's party but we had a blast...
Two parties in one day was a little crazy but well worth it!

Happy Sunday!!

Rascal Flatts Changed CD Review!

When the chance came up to be able to do a review for Rascal Flatts new cd Changed, I was all over it!
I have loved Rascal Flatts since high school!
Countless numbers of their songs have been blared on my stereo,
and me horrendously singing them at the top of my lungs happened quite often!
Their voices literally give me chills!
I love that you ALWAYS know who they are, by Gary's amazing vocals.

I was so excited when the cd arrived.
I have listened to every song and I think this cd is AMAZING!
I am obsessed with the songs "Changed", "Hot in Here" and "A Little Home"
I sing "Hot in Here" all day long...
I even made Jordan listen to it...he thinks I am crazy!

Changed is their eighth studio album and their first with brand new material in 2 years.
Their musical debut was in 2000.
This fact makes me feel very OLD!
I was just a freshman in high school when they started!
This cd is just as good as their classics, if not better!
Enter to win a Fly Away Trip to see Rascal Flatts in concert!
This is an amazing contest, it includes flights, hotel, tickets and meet & greet passes for two lucky fans
to see them on their summer tour! Giveaway ends April 30th so GET ON IT!:)
If you aren't chosen as the winner you can still see them in action

Disclosure: I am participating this review hosted by One2One Network.
All opinions are my own and I fully suggest this cd to all my followers!

Thursday Randoms....

MIA....
Yes that is what I have been lately!
I have just been doing lots of research for you guys for my surviving 3 under 3 with sanity
....the first secret is go to bed when the kids do...
which equals little to NO blogging time for mama.
But I have my sanity in tow and that is what matters most!:)
So fret not friends, I promise one day I will be back blogging!
FILL ME IN though if I have missed ANY BIG announcements
((who's pregnant, engaged!?!?))
Spill it....

Recipes to try...
Easter Smore's
I should have posted this earlier, ya know last week when the easter candy was on clearance....
Anyways....grahams, peeps and reese eggs = HEAVEN!!!
We have hailed it a new Easter tradition!:)

Cinnamon Bun Waffles....
These are so EASY! Thanks to my love Lindsey who posted a pic on facebook Saturday...
I had to make a quick trip to the store to make these for Vincent....
You just take a cinnamon roll, plop it on the waffle maker and voila!
THEY ROCK.....

Best Potato Soup ever thanks to my love Becky for the recipe...
Any recipe that involved bacon has me all over it....
It was so freaking good and EASY to make! It lasted us 2-3 days!
Amen for not having to cook!:)

Homeschooling....
school room
We have decided it is in our children's best interest to be homeschooled by yours truly!:)
I will do a whole entire post about this reasoning and how we came to our decision
It will be a lot of work but it is best for our situation and lifestyle.
Any info or sites you have would be amazing!:)

Road Trip....
We hit the road on Sunday with Jordan for work....
We visited my family and friends, it was heavenly....
Even the 3 kids in a hotel for 3 nights was fine...
Driving in the car knocks Luke out cold....
Reading material
I am excited to say I finished Bloom this trip!!!
I am also excited that we scheduled our skype session with Kelle for May 25th,
She will be live via skype in my living room!!!
BEYOND EXCITED!
Barefoot...would you expect anything less with Jordan as their papa! haha
Jordan thought it was perfect playground to work out...
We got to see my dear friend Chrissy and her family 2 days in a row...
IT WAS AMAZING...
Claira is so darn cute...
I seriously cannot handle her cuteness...
Her and Luke love eachother...
There are going to be some cat fights between my boys over who gets to date Claira...

Vincent is 3 TOMORROW....
We went to dinner to celebrate yesterday....
I seriously cannot even believe how fast these past years have gone....
Vincent received a gift from Uncle Alex...
Homeboy likes beef jerky so we are going to be able to make it ourselves!
((and fruit strips...yum!))
Luke is pretty excited too....

Today, Jude is 6 weeks old...
This is flying by...
My sweet little angel is being baptized this weekend...
So we will be having 2 parties this weekend....
Jude's Baptism and Vincents 3rd Birthday....
Which reminds me I need to go to Costco to get his cake!!

BIG BOY BEDS....
Vincent has been in a bed for almost a year but we just made a transition for Luke...
They officially share a room!! AHHHHHH!!
It went flawless last night!
I will have to snap a picture of the roommates!:)
I thought nap time would be a problem for Luke but I laid him down like 30 mins ago
and I have yet to hear a peep!
>>>SCORE!<<<<

That is all for now....
I love you all...
Thanks for hanging in there and still following my blog while I have been tending to my babes!
