Operation: Jude's Nursery

We have had the same nursery since Vincent was a baby so once we got in the new house I wanted a change. I know that there will be more babies hopefully in our future so redoing the nursery made sense. I just wanted something fresh and modern that would be gender neutral. I am ALMOST done just need a few more things and then I will do a whole reveal! His nursery was a blank slate, the walls were white and the floor is wood. The new nursery will be yellow and gray.
I started first with the dresser. It was a green so I painted it dark gray and changed out the hardware.
I found these polka dot knobs at Hobby Lobby, not sure yet if I fully love them
I added one different knob for the door on the dresser. A yellow owl which I love!
Here is the dresser along with the new rug for the room!
I love the rug, I just wish I would have ordered a bigger one. This one is 4x6 next time I will go bigger!
Next the bedding arrived, I got it from Land of Nod. I am obsessed.
Here is a sneak peek of that!
(You can also see the new wall color in this picture, its a real light cool gray)
Now I am trying to figure exactly where to put everything on the walls.
I bought 20x30 canvases of all the boys when they were 6 months old to hang.
You can see how easy it is to get things done with Jude in the room....aka the biggest mess maker ever.

That is it for NOW! I cannot wait to show you guys the full finished project!

  1. Love the canvas prints! Can't wait to get those made for Savanna's Nursery (as soon as she arrives and has her pictures done of course.)Like the rug too, I'm thinking of ordering a similar one in pink!

  2. Looking super cute! See you don't need help, you obviously have some interior design-ness in you!! :)

  3. I love the canvases...what a cute idea. I think I'm going to need to do that now.

  4. I just discovered recently Land of Nod and am quickly becoming OBSESSED! Cant wait to see the final product!
